BZZY fights off all dramatic relationships in his new banger “Firefly.”
BZZY knows the dangers of craving for the girl he can’t have, but that doesn’t mean he can’t use his imagination. The South Florida rapper battles with the temptation to win over someone else’s girl in his new banger “Firefly.” The Huss-produced record allows the MC formally known as Bizzy Crook to open up about his experience with the ultimate forbidden fruit.
“Firefly” is a story about pretty much about wanting a girl you can’t have,” he told XXL. “She may or may not be a close friend of your girl. You’re also the spiciest guy alive so you go for it anyway. You never know what could happen. I wouldn’t try this at home though.”
The vibrant tune serves as the second single from BZZY’s upcoming album Before I Jump. The follow-up to his 2016 project A Part Of Everything is expected to hold features from Florida’s own Zoey Dollaz and Sylvan Lacue plus “All The Way Up” producer Edsclusive, Jordan Manswell, Love Mansuy, Lexii Alijah, Nate Traveller, DopeByAccident, and BiBi Borja.
I’m telling you some of the fucked up shit I’ve done, and been through,” BZZY said about the album. “I know I need to confront to move passed it. My music is something I do for me, and share with the world. When I address something on a song, I free it from my spirit. These are the things I have to get out, Before I Jump.”
