Freebandz rapper Zoey Dollaz stops by to talk about his new mixtape, his thoughts on social justice, and plenty more.
Zoey Dollaz has a compelling story to tell about his new mixtape Port-Au-Prince, and we were blessed enough hear it in full. Our North Miami homie, who’s currently holding it down for Future’s Freebandz imprint, came through to our new home base at Smoke Signals Studio to tell us more about the project along with Cheeks Bossman, who’s featured on “Me, Myself, & I.”
Zoey also touches on how his Haitian heritage played a pivotal role in the creation of the project. The conversation shifts into a discussion about the recent outbreak of police brutality along with umi selah, one of the founders of Smoke Signal Studios and lead member of the Dream Defenders.
