A handful of rising and seasoned comedians hit the stage for the 9th annual Miami Comedy Fest.

After a series of parties and events up and down South Beach, Memorial Day weekend ended on a funny note at the Miami Comedy Festival at the James L Knight Center presented by New World Entertainment in Downtown Miami (May 29). Following the opening performance from Baltimore rapper Damon Blue, host and fellow comedienne Kym Whitley introduced every funny man on the playbill, and had the crowd cracking up

Comedians Steve Brown, Miami native Kitchen, Jacksonville native Lil Duval, Michael Colyar, John Witherspoon and Earthquake all owned the stage with hysterical sets. We got to catch up with revered comedians like John Witherspoon, Michael Colyar, Lil Duval, and Earthquake, who had the pleasure of celebrating his 53rd birthday on stage with the audience.
