Zoey Dollaz says he plans to go above and beyond to help the people of Haiti.
Haitian rapper Zoey Dollaz vows to extend a helping hand to the struggling community in his home country. After growing up surrounded by turmoil on the island, the North Miami resident knows the rough struggles the people of Haiti go through everyday. After he spoke about how Future helped him make his dreams come true, the Freebandz/Epic lyricist said that he wants to do more for the Haitian community than anyone ever has before.
“I’m going to do more than anybody has done for sure,” Zoey said. “That’s the goal. With the help from others who do want to help. You can’t really be a one man army. It’s hard. You need a team. But the things I’m going to put together will do more than anyone has ever done for the country.”
Before he laid down his memorable verse on Jahlil Beats’ latest club beat, the “Couches” rapper spoke about the rising hip-hop scene in Miami with rappers like Pouya, Denzel Curry, QuEST (now known as Sylvan Lacue), and plenty more. He also revealed his plans to get in the studio with TIDAL Discovery rapper Bizzy Crook for a joint mixtape.
