Jabee memorializes Sean Price with slick bars over a Statik Selektah beat.

Emmy-award winning hip-hop artist Jabee just dropped the first single from his upcoming album Black Future. The visual adaptation of “Exhausted” features a tribute to Sean “Ruck” Price, Brookyln rapper and former member of hip-hop groups such as Book Camp Clik, Random Axe and Heltah Skeltah.

“Exhausted was how I felt putting the album together,” Jabee said in a press release. “I felt like it was a great way to lyrically introduce people to the album and who I am as an artist.”

Jabee’s forthcoming album Black Future is all about handling confrontational topics as he conveys underlying themes that reflect his current outlook on life. With Statik Selektah behind the boards, “Exhausted” stays true to its deep hip-hop roots established by remarkable MC’s like Sean Price, Buckwild, Smiff-N-Wessun, and other Brooklyn legends.

Look out for Black Future dropping June 18th. Watch “Exhausted” here. Rest in power Ruck!
