Kendrick Lamar’s new album features a song co-produced by a famous five-year-old.
Kendrick Lamar caught the masses off guard on Thursday night when he dropped his surprise untitled unmastered album. The rumored project holds eight untitled tracks from the past two year. Amongst the TPAB throwaways and other experimental verses, “Track 7” in particular has drawn a lot of attention for its groundbreaking production.
The second half of the track was produced by Swizz Beats and Alicia Keys’ son Egypt Dean. Yes, you read that correctly. The musically advanced five-year-old has become the youngest producer in the game.
The project comes days after TDE revealed the status of their upcoming releases for 2016. Now that K. dot has dropped off his new offering, ScHoolboy Q is next on deck followed by Ab-Soul while SZA and Isaiah Rashad enter the next phases of their respective projects.
