Ace Hood, 2 Live Crew & Damond Blue Become The First Rappers To Perform At Electric Beach In Miami

Miami veterans 2 Live Crew, Ace Hood, and Damond Blue blessed the EDM event with ground-breaking sets.

Electric Beach is known for bringing out the best EDM acts the industry has to offer, but creator Angel Sanchez decided to switch things up to celebrate six years of the wildest EDM party at Miami’s favorite beachside nightclub Nikki Beach. Dade county natives 2 Live Crew, Ace Hood and Baltimore newcomer Damond Blue brought a fresh addition to the ultimate kick-off party for Winter Music Conference.

Fresh Kid Ice (Chris Wong Won) and Brother Marquis (Mark D. Ross) brought the authentic Miami bass era back to South Beach in honor of their “As Nasty As They Wanna Be” anniversary tour. Ice and Marquis delivered classic hits from the legendary rap group like “Throw That D” and “Me So Horny.” With a trio of sexy dancers by their side, 2 Live Crew performed their memorable records with millennial fans in the audience screaming their raunchy lyrics.

Ace Hood followed up with a medley of his infamous tracks like “Buggati” and “Hustle Hard,” and his recent single “Carried Away.” The Hood Nation representer spent a lot of his stage time dropping slick bars a cappella. Baltimore MC Damond Blue closed out the event and rocked out with the crowd until the very end.
