“The Heir” Chase N. Cashe reveals who will appear on #THUT2
Rapper & producer Chase N Cashe spent Day 3 of The Source Magazine’s SOURCE360 weekend by enjoying the Block Party and all the dope art pieces on display. Shortly before the NOLA artist performed at the SOURCE360 concert, myself and HipHopSince87’s Maria Myraine got to catch up with Cashe, who revealed how he felt about being apart of the second annual hip-hop music and art festival.
“It was good to see kids in the mix with hip-hop,” he said. “I feel like that’s important in this generation. You got a lot of kids involved on the Internet but to see them out and about in the street with new artists, especially with The Source.”
After spending the day with the young kids and artists at the family-oriented event, Cashe also gave us a better understanding of his upcoming project The Heir Up There 2. Like the first installment and his follow-up The Best There Is, Cashe says his forthcoming body of work is a lot more creative, and is fully loaded with fire collaborations.
“I got production handled by myself. Me and Hit-boy are back together. We got a crazy joint on that together. Me and 183rd keeping it going. Me and LE$ of Jetlife got some records together. You can look forward to something left field.”
Look out for The Heir Up There 2 coming soon. Watch him perform at SOURCE 360 below.
